Job summary

Grand Valley State University seeks a program professional to support the Center for Educational Partnerships and Groundswell Stewardship Initiative in promoting PBSE across PK-12 schools. The role emphasizes grant management, proposal development, and high-impact professional learning for educators.

The position requires experience in K-12 learning design, strong collaboration across stakeholders, and a commitment to equity and community stewardship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• At least 2 years of K-12 classroom/program experience aligned to standards.
• At least 2 years facilitating and evaluating adult PD.
• Familiarity with PBSE principles and practices.
• Strong written and oral communication, organization, and presentation skills.
• Commitment to community-based environmental stewardship and DEI.

Responsibilities

• Implement grant and program requirements including budgeting and reporting.
• Collaborate with CEP staff to develop new grant proposals.
• Develop, market, implement, and evaluate high-impact professional learning on PBSE.
• Support PK-12 educators to facilitate student-led PBSE projects.
• Help PK-12 teachers build relationships with community partners.
• Identify strategies for program development, sustainability, and improvement.
• Perform other duties per grant agreement or leadership.
