Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field is required.
• 3–5 years grant writing experience in nonprofit, public broadcasting, or education.
• Proven ability to research, write, and manage grants.
• Ability to manage budgets and adhere to grant terms.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee grants administration, research funders, evaluate RFPs and report requirements.
• Write, review and edit proposals to foundations and funders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local, state, and federal funders.
• Lead cultivation and stewardship of major foundation donors to increase gifts.
• Collaborate with WGVU, GVSU Office of Sponsored Programs, Advancement and Grants Accounting.
• Manage a portfolio of foundation donors and prospects.
