Job summary

Gridiron IT is seeking a PL/SQL Developer in Arlington, VA to support a government program. This hybrid role requires on-site presence 1-2 times per week. The successful candidate will redesign databases, develop PL/SQL code, and create web applications within MS SQL Server and Oracle databases.

Requirements include at least 1 year of PL/SQL experience and familiarity with Agile methodologies. Competitive hourly pay ranging from $55 to $60 is offered along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan.

Description:

Gridiron IT is looking to hire a PL/SQL Developer to support a government program in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities:

Perform logical database (re)design, develop within-database code (e.g., PL/SQL) and develop web app UI and services within MS SQL Server, Oracle databases and their associated stack (OS, web and app servers). Member of a team that maintains existing applications, refactors existing applications, and architects/describes new applications with user interfaces or applications that provide services to other consuming applications.

Required Skills:

• 1+ years experience with PL/SQL
• Experience with Agile (SCRUM, Kanban), Standard SDLC, CMMI compliant projects

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Agile (SCRUM, Kanban), Standard SDLC, CMMI compliant projects
• Experience with Quality Assurance code quality frameworks (e.g., SonarQube, OWASP)
• Experience with source control management (SVN, GIT, Mercurial, CVS)

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary Range: $55-60 hourly (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
