Optechs Inc. is seeking a PL/SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to support ERP CS environments and OCI migration efforts. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and optimizing PL/SQL code, and ensuring database performance and integrity during migration and post-migration sustainment.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Oracle databases, OEM, OCI migrations, and strong SQL performance tuning, backup/recovery, and security. This position requires U.S.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and scripts.
• Support ERP CS migration activities and OCI infrastructure requirements.
• Assist with migration planning, execution, validation, testing, and post-migration stabilization.
• Analyze and troubleshoot PL/SQL code and SQL queries.
• Support integration and operational requirements across OEM, OCI and related environments.
• Execute Oracle-provided tools and scripts for migration/configuration.
• Collaborate with SIT/UAT teams to identify and resolve database defects.
• Coordinate with Mission Partner teams and vendors to resolve issues.
• Monitor and optimize queries and PL/SQL components for performance and data integrity.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and runbooks for post-migration sustainment.

Job Summary:

Optimized Technical Solutions (OTS) is looking for a PL/SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to support the ERP CS shared services environments and associated Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) migration efforts. The PL/SQL DBA is responsible for developing, maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting Oracle database procedures, functions, packages, and scripts to support database operations, application functionality, and migration activities. This position works closely with the DBA Lead, Mission Partner (MP) DBA team, ERP CS technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure database performance, integrity, and operational readiness throughout the migration and post-migration sustainment phases.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and scripts to support ERP CS database environments and application requirements.
• Work with the DBA Lead and ERP CS technical teams to support database migration activities and associated OCI infrastructure requirements.
• Support database migration planning, execution, validation, testing, and post-migration stabilization activities.
• Analyze and troubleshoot PL/SQL code, SQL queries, database performance issues, and application-related database errors.
• Support database integration and operational requirements across the MilAUDIT, Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), and Oracle Single Sign-On (SSO-OAM, OIM, OUD) environments, as applicable.
• Execute Oracle-provided tools and database scripts necessary to support migration, configuration, and operational activities.
• Collaborate with System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve database-related defects and support retesting efforts.
• Coordinate with Mission Partner teams, infrastructure teams, and product vendors to resolve technical issues and implement approved corrective actions.
• Monitor and optimize database queries, stored procedures, and other PL/SQL components to ensure performance, reliability, and data integrity.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, database scripts, standard operating procedures, and operational runbooks to support post‑migration sustainment.

Contingent Upon Award

Requirements:

• Must be U.S. citizen
• Must hold an active CompTIA Security+ certification and maintain it throughout employment.
• Experience administering and supporting Oracle databases.
• Experience configuring, administering, or supporting Oracle Enterprise Manager.
• Working knowledge of OCI and database or monitoring-platform migrations.
• Understanding of SQL, database performance tuning, backup and recovery, and database security.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and collaborate across technical teams.
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills.

Work Environment

Office environment. Requires ability to provide clear, concise, accurate and timely communication, both verbally and in writing (100%). Requires ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management, and client (100%). Occasional business travel may be required. Only requested and approved expenses will be covered by OTS.
