Job summary

Evolution Research Group is seeking a Lab Assistant to support Phase I–IV clinical trials with specimen collection and processing. The role involves assisting the Lab Manager, monitoring specimen collections, and maintaining a compliant, efficient lab environment.

Weekend and extended hours may be required. The position emphasizes phlebotomy duties, adherence to GCP/ICH guidelines, and basic data-entry tasks, with opportunities to contribute to cutting-edge research at ERG’s neuroscience-focused

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy Technician certification or 6+ months phlebotomy experience.
• Clinical Research experience preferred.
• BLS/ACLS certification preferred.
• Knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and regulations.
• Medical terminology is essential.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel) and lab software familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Monitor urine collection temperatures and 24-hour specimen collections as assigned.
• Assist Lab Manager in processing samples and maintaining the collection area.
• Perform clerical/data-entry duties as required.
• Ensure safety and comfort of study participants during shifts.
• Serve as courier to the Pharmacokinetic laboratory for specimens.
• Maintain clean, stocked collection areas and proper labeling of tubes.
• Report abnormal findings and assist with documentation and requisitions.
