Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking an Academic Coordinator, PK-3 Language Arts in Dayton to work with teachers to elevate instructional practice and student achievement. The role will be assigned to provide services across buildings and report to the Chief Academic Officer.

Core duties include leading literacy PLCs, monitoring curriculum, creating ELA guides, and coordinating professional development with internal staff and external providers while maintaining district software and assessments.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or legal right to work in the U.S.
• Master's degree or higher required.
• Minimum five years of successful teaching experience within the grade band.
• Current and valid Ohio Teaching and Administrative Licenses required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate professional learning communities in literacy.
• Monitor and support implementation of district curriculum and instructional practices.
• Create and maintain instructional guides for PK-3 ELA content.
• Coordinate contracts and vendor renewals with the Chief Academic Officer.
• Inventory and order curricular materials as needed.
• Create and maintain formative common assessments.
• Present professional development at building and district levels.
• Coordinate PD with third-party providers and schedule sessions.
• Maintain district curriculum software and provide training/support.
• Develop and monitor district literacy plans and RIMPs as required.

Education

Master's degree or higher

Ohio Teaching and Administrative Licenses
