Job summary

Pelham School District is seeking a compassionate PK-12 School Social Worker to support students' academic, social-emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs across the district. This role links school, home, and community resources.

The ideal candidate has an MSW, NH certification/eligibility, and experience with MTSS, trauma-informed practices, and crisis intervention. Collaboration with educators and families is essential, with confidential record-keeping in compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW).
  • New Hampshire certification or eligibility as a School Social Worker.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) preferred.
  • Experience with children/adolescents in educational or clinical settings preferred.
  • Knowledge of MTSS, trauma-informed practices, special education processes, and crisis intervention.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and case management services to students and families to remove barriers to learning.
  • Support MTSS, develop intervention plans, and assist with IEPs and 504 plans.
  • Collaborate with general and special education teams and maintain confidential records.
