Job summary

Keowee River Club Golf, LLC is seeking a Pizza/Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen at The Reserve at Lake Keowee in Sunset, SC. You will prepare high-quality dishes to our standards, set up stations, and assist with events.

This role requires 2-4 years of kitchen experience, knowledge of food safety, and the ability to stand long hours; you will work with an Italian wood-burning pizza oven and other equipment. Competitive wages and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant kitchen experience (preferred).
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Check in with the Manager at the start of each shift for daily tasks.
• Set up, operate, and break down kitchen stations efficiently.
• Prepare and cook food to order while following recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in accordance with state and federal health codes.
• Operate kitchen equipment, including an Italian wood-burning pizza oven, sandwich maker, and fryer.
• Properly store food, ensuring it is covered, dated, and rotated daily.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels and assist with inventory management.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
• Assist with banquets and special events as needed.
