Job summary

GROTTO PIZZA INC. is seeking a friendly CSR/Counter to support take-out and delivery service.

You will answer incoming calls with a proper greeting, take orders over the phone, record customer details accurately, and enter orders into the POS system to ensure fast, accurate service. You will assist guests with the Swirl Rewards program, manage cash and credit transactions, help train new staff, and keep the take-out area clean and organized in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Some secondary education required.
• Entry-level position with on-the-job training.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Answer all telephone calls with a proper greeting.
• Assist customers verbally in a friendly, professional manner.
• Write down customer orders using proper notation and forms.
• Enter take-out and delivery orders into the POS system accurately.
• Prepare pizza boxes for take-out and delivery orders.
• Know Swirl Rewards program to sign-up guests.
• Maintain gelato presentation and appearance.
• Clean, stock, and sanitize the take-out/delivery area and equipment.
• Uphold safe food handling and sanitation standards.
• Maintain cash register records, process payments, and record tips.
• Assist in training new employees.
• Provide support to co-workers as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
