Job summary

Boom's Pizza Lakewood is seeking a Shift Leader to guide service, ensure food quality, and uphold cleanliness during assigned shifts. You will work with management to deliver exceptional guest experiences and supervise team tasks from opening to closing.

Responsibilities include opening procedures, guest interactions, shift oversight, inventory support, and accurate end-of-day cash reconciliation. This role requires strong communication and a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in restaurant or food service, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team and guest interactions.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make quick decisions in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficient in food preparation, inventory management, and cash handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Open and prepare the restaurant for service, including cash drawer setup and line checks.
• Greet guests, handle inquiries or complaints professionally, and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Oversee shift adherence to policies, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Assist with inventory on designated order days and communicate shortages or surpluses to management.
• Conclude shifts with closing procedures and end-of-day cash reconciliation.
