Job summary

Crescent City Pizza Works is seeking a hands-on Pizza Shift Lead for our Bourbon Street operation. You will lead the team during shifts, ensure quality pizzas, and keep service moving smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, attention to food quality and guest satisfaction, with evening/night/weekend availability and a dynamic work setting in New Orleans.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant, quick-service or food-service experience.
• Leadership or Shift Lead experience preferred.
• Hands-on leadership style and ability to work with the team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coach and hold others accountable.
• Organized and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Focus on food quality, cleanliness and guest service.
• Dependable and willing to take ownership of the shift.
• Availability to work evenings, late nights, weekends, holidays and high-volume periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support team members throughout the shift.
• Maintain high standards for pizza quality, presentation, portioning and consistency.
• Ensure food is prepared according to recipes and company standards.
• Keep service moving efficiently during busy periods.
• Assign tasks and ensure proper shift coverage.
• Coach team members and reinforce expectations.
• Provide friendly, efficient guest service and assist with guest concerns.
• Support opening and closing responsibilities.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, food safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor product levels and communicate inventory or prep needs to management.
• Follow and reinforce company policies, procedures and safety standards.
• Jump in wherever needed to support the team and keep the operation running smoothly.
