Job summary

The Brooklyn Brewery Corporation in New York, NY, is seeking a talented Pizzaiolo to support our new pizza program under the Pizzaiolo Chef. This role blends craft pizza making with high-volume production as part of a premier operation.

You will work daily with the pizza team, develop and maintain dough, and help with menu development, seasonal features, and events, while upholding food safety, quality, and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Passion for pizza and continual learning.
• Minimum of 2 years of pizza-making experience.
• Strong experience operating gas-fired and electric pizza ovens, wood-fired a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work daily on the pizza line, including dough production, stretching, topping, baking, and expediting during service.
• Maintain dough quality with fermentation, hydration, mixing, and production planning.
• Manage daily, weekly, and long-term dough production schedules.
• Support menu development, seasonal features, and special events.
