Qualifications

• Experience making pizza in a high-volume kitchen.
• Strong understanding of dough handling, fermentation, and baking.
• Able to hand-stretch dough quickly under pressure.
• Demonstrates judgment and accountability for food quality.
• Manage multiple orders and timing during peak service.
• Collaborates and communicates effectively with kitchen team.
• Reads and follows standardized recipes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute pizzas per Parla’s recipes and quality standards.
• Make New York–style round and square pizzas from scratch.
• Hand-stretch dough to proper size and thickness.
• Manage firing and timing for proper cook, structure, and presentation.
• Monitor ovens and adjust to maintain quality.
• Coordinate with kitchen team to ensure simultaneous service.
• Recognize and correct pizzas not meeting standards.
• Set up, stock, and maintain a clean, organized station.
• Follow direction from Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chefs with urgency.
• Maintain food safety and proper handling at all times.
