Eataly North America is seeking a Pizza Maker to craft roman-style pizza alla pala following authentic Italian recipes. You will report to the Bakery Manager and work onsite, with responsibilities that include maintaining cleanliness and adhering to health standards.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ year in a back-of-house role, strong work ethic, and solid communication/time-management skills to engage guests and support pizza production across varied shifts.

Job Description

A Pizza Maker is responsible for producing roman-style pizza alla pala in accordance with our authentic Italian recipes. Reports to the Bakery Manager.

• Prepares pizzas according to specific recipes
• Complies with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies and procedures
• Maintains a clean and sanitary food production area according to Department of Health standards
• Works towards mastering all shifts in pizza production
• Assists Sales Associates if needed and engages with guests interested in learning about pizza production
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a back of house production position
• Good work ethic, communication and time management skills

Job Requirements

• Availability to work onsite with a flexible, open schedule often including evenings and weekends preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for at least 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
• Ability to work with a wood burning oven, electric pizza convection oven and commercial spiral mixer
