Pizza Maker — Brooklyn DOP. . Our Pizza Makers are responsible for producing Brooklyn DOP pizzas consistently, quickly, and to our standards.. . This is a hands-on position that includes stretching and topping pizzas, managing the ovens, preparing dough and pizza-station ingredients, maintaining a clean and organized station, and executing every pizza according to DOP recipes and procedures.. . Pizza Makers are expected to work with speed and attention to detail while maintaining quality during busy service. The role also includes learning our dough system, NY-style pizza techniques, Sicilian and specialty pizza production, food safety, prep, and proper station setup and breakdown.. . We operate as a team, so every Pizza Maker is expected to communicate well, stay organized, help their coworkers, and take ownership of the Pizza Station.. . Brooklyn DOP uses a tier-based skill and pay system. As Pizza Makers master additional skills, demonstrate consistency, and take on greater responsibility, they have opportunities to advance to higher tiers and earn higher pay.
