NY Pie - Nashville is hiring pizza makers for our Hendersonville location. We offer competitive pay at $18-$23 per hour, including tips, with a flexible full or part-time schedule. We pride ourselves on Wild Hospitality and top-quality New York style pizza in a warm, team-driven environment.

Join a family-style pizzeria with four Nashville area locations. You’ll work in a fast-paced kitchen, learn multiple roles, and have opportunities for growth and team-building events.

Qualifications

• Experience: Prior pizza maker required.
• Knowledge: Food sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods in a hot, fast-paced environment.
• Schedule flexibility: avail evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills: Read orders from tickets or screen and follow recipes precisely.

Responsibilities

• Pizza preparation: hand-stretching dough, saucing, toppings, and baking pizzas.
• Ingredient prep: dough, vegetables, sauces, and meats.
• Oven management: operate wood-fired, gas, or conveyor ovens.
• Kitchen sanitation: maintain hygiene and clean work areas.
• Inventory: monitor stock and inform supervisors of low levels.
• Customer service: assist with orders and hand food to customers.

Description

Prepares, assembles, and bakes pizzas according to recipes, working in fast-paced kitchens. Responsibilities include preparing dough and toppings, operating ovens, maintaining sanitation standards, and providing customer service. Key skills required are speed, accuracy, food safety knowledge, and teamwork

Core Responsibilities

• Pizza Preparation: Hand-stretching dough, saucing, topping, and baking pizzas consistently.
• Ingredient Prep: Preparing dough, chopping vegetables, making sauces, and slicing meats.
• Oven Management: Operating and monitoring wood-fired, gas, or conveyor ovens to ensure proper cooking.
• Kitchen Sanitation: Cleaning workstations, tools, and equipment, and maintaining high hygiene standards.
• Inventory Control: Monitoring stock levels and informing supervisors of low inventory.
• Customer Service: Managing orders and, in some settings, taking orders or handing food to customers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience as a pizza maker required
• Knowledge: Understanding of food sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and work in a hot, fast-paced environment.
• Schedule Flexibility: Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
