Job summary

Mellow Mushroom is hiring for a pizza cook in Bluffton, SC. You will prepare dough, sauces, cheeses, and toppings and master dough spinning in an open kitchen. You’ll monitor temperatures and cooking times for our stone-baked pizzas while engaging guests and coworkers with the iconic Mellow vibe.

• Prepare the pizza dough, sauces, cheeses, and toppings (tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, onions, and more)
• Become a master at spinning dough in an open kitchen; customers cheer for you
• Monitor exact temperatures and cooking times for premium stone-baked pizzas
• Be comfortable talking to coworkers and guests; extend the Mellow vibe to everyone – especially team members
• Prepare the Mellow specialty pizzas and build-your-own items that guests crave and rave about
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces and utensils/equipment; adhere to strict food-safety standards

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare the pizza dough, sauces, cheeses, and toppings (tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, onions, and more)
• Become a master at spinning dough in an open kitchen; our customers love this, they will cheer for you (for reals)
• Monitor exact temperatures and cooking times for our premium stone-baked pizzas
• Be comfortable talking to coworkers and guests; we want you to extend the Mellow vibe to everyone – especially team members
• Prepare the Mellow specialty pizzas our guests crave and rave about. This includes following recipes and creating build-your-own menu items that leave guests coming back for more.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces and utensils/equipment; we pride ourselves on strict standards for food safety
