Job summary

California Pizza Kitchen is seeking a Pizza Chef to join a dynamic, fun team focused on delivering delicious experiences for guests. You will ensure top food quality and sanitation, prep pizza station items, and operate specialty equipment while supporting station opening and closing duties.

Experience of 3–6 months or training is required. The environment emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and delivering epic service to guests in a fast-paced setting.

They assure timely preparation of all pizzas station recipes. They are our experts of the “Dough-Pro” machine. Our Pizza Chef supports the line checks process and complete prep par sheets every shift. They prepare all necessary items for their station as needed. They practice and teach safe/sanitary handling of cutting boards, counter tops, knives, and equipment. They maintain the proper temperature of equipment and perform station opening/closing and side work duties each shift.
