Job summary

California Pizza Kitchen in Deer Park, IL is seeking a Pizza Chef to help deliver California creativity with top priority guest experience. You will cook pizzas, maintain high quality and sanitation, and master the Dough-Pro machine during each shift.

Qualifications

• Three to six months related experience or training.
• Ability to prepare pizzas and maintain quality standards.
• Safe/sanitary handling of cutting boards, counters, knives and equipment.
• Open/close station and perform side work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest standards for food quality and sanitation.
• Assure timely preparation of all pizzas station recipes.
• Expert in the Dough-Pro machine.
• Support line checks and complete prep par sheets each shift.
• Prepare all necessary items for their station as needed.
• Practice and teach safe/sanitary handling of equipment.
• Maintain proper temperature of equipment and perform opening/closing duties.

Job Duties

• Our Pizza Chef maintain the highest standards for food quality and sanitation.
• They assure timely preparation of all pizzas station recipes.
• They are our experts of the “Dough-Pro” machine.
• Our Pizza Chef supports the line checks process and complete prep par sheets every shift.
• They prepare all necessary items for their station as needed.
• They practice and teach safe/sanitary handling of cutting boards, counter tops, knives, and equipment.
• They maintain the proper temperature of equipment and perform station opening/closing and side work duties each shift.

We require three to six months related experience or training.
