Maple Landing is seeking an experienced Pizza Cook for its ghost kitchen, Social Pie. The candidate will work the mid-shift from 12pm to 8pm and prepare pizzas per menu and custom orders. Responsibilities include cooking wings, sandwiches, and sides, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Ideal applicants have at least 2 years of pizza cook experience, are able to multitask, and can memorize multiple orders quickly. Authorization to work in the United States is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor oven temperatures and adjust as needed.

• Inspect and clean prep areas for safety.
• Prepare ingredients for shift: wash, chop, mix sauces.
• Cook according to health and safety standards.
• Handle multiple orders; ensure presentation and quality.
• Deliver orders to wait staff promptly.
• Perform other duties as needed.

We are in need of an experienced Pizza Cook to join our team for our ghost kitchen, Social Pie! We are looking for someone who is available to work the mid-shift: 12pm-8pm.

Compensation: $15-17 an hour depending on experience/qualifications.

Pizza Cook Responsibilities:

Monitor and adjust oven temperatures to ensure pizzas are cooked to perfection.

Prepare pizzas based on menu and custom orders.

Prepare other dishes such as wings, sandwiches, and sides.

Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.

Preparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, making sauces etc.

Cook according to food health and safety standards.

Handling multiple food orders at one time.

Ensure great presentation and food quality before serving the food.

Ensuring each guest order has the correct food and sides.

Delivering food orders to wait staff in a timely manner.

Any other duties deemed necessary to the position.

Pizza Cook Qualifications:

Previous experience as a pizza cook. (Minimum 2 years)

Valid Food Handlers certification (or must be willing to obtain)

Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

Self-motivated and self-directed.

Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks.

Able to quickly memorize complex or multiple orders.

Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; able to bend and kneel through shift; able to lift up to 50 pounds or more.

Effective communication skills

Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)

Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.

Authorized to work in the United States.
