Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience required.
• Six months of experience operating and maintaining front-end loaders preferred.
• Experience with mobile equipment in construction or processing plants is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate a pit loader safely and efficiently according to company guidelines and safety standards.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-shift inspections of work areas and equipment.
• Report needed repairs to supervisor and perform basic preventative maintenance checks.
• Maintain safe traffic flow on site and operate conveyors, surge piles, and crushers with care.
• Assist in training co-workers as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
