Job summary

Amazon is hiring an Equipment Operator at its Edgerton, KS fulfillment center to safely operate PIT equipment including forklifts and pallet drivers. You will receive free PIT training and certification, unload and load trailers, stock pallets, and prepare customer orders with scanners and other devices.

A willingness to stand, walk, lift up to 49 pounds, and work varying shifts is required. There are multiple shift options (Day, Overnight, Weekend) and a competitive, weekly-pay wage.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to understand safety guidelines.
• No prior experience required; training and certification provided free of cost.
• Able to lift up to 49 pounds and push up to 60 pounds, stand and walk for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Receive and put away inventory and prepare customer orders.
• Load boxes into trucks and use scanners to read bar codes.
• Operate PIT equipment and work at heights as required; follow safety and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot issues and ensure products meet quality requirements.
