Job summary

Mechanix Wear is seeking an Equipment Operator I for the overnight shift at the Kansas City Distribution Center. The role involves operating a Power Industrial Truck (PIT), performing put-away, picking, induction, and packing tasks to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.

We require a high school diploma or equivalent and PIT certification; previous PIT experience is preferred. Expect a 10-hour shift from 6 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime hours.

Qualifications

• High level of safety awareness and adherence to SOPs.
• Warehouse policies and procedures knowledge.
• Ability to learn product codes and terminology.
• Basic math and counting accuracy for inventory.

Responsibilities

• Put-away: move product to destination locations with scans.
• Picking: select and count items to satisfy demand.
• Induction: operate automated sorting table and load robots.
• Closeout: use RF scanner and finalize orders for packing.
• Packing/Quality Control: apply labels and ensure correct packaging.
• Dock Sorting: organize orders onto carrier pallets.
