Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Equipment Operator to join its warehouse team. You will operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) like order pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, and related equipment to move pallets and items efficiently and safely. Amazon provides free PIT training and certification, no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old
• Able to understand and follow instructions in English
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
• Able to stand, walk, push, pull, bend, and reach during shifts
• Capable of operating carts, dollies and pallet jacks safely
• Able to operate PIT equipment at heights up to 45 feet

Responsibilities

• Operate PIT such as order pickers and reach trucks
• Locate, retrieve and store large pallets in designated locations
• Move items using carts, dollies, and pallet jacks during loading/unloading
• Use handheld devices to track inventory
• Participate in on-site training and certification provided by Amazon
