Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Equipment Operator for its warehouse in Carlisle, PA. You will operate PIT equipment like order pickers and forklifts to handle pallets, unload/load trailers, and store items across the facility. Training and certification are provided for free, no prior experience required.

Shifts are available 24/7 with multiple scheduling options, and benefits include opportunities for overtime based on demand. Protective gear is provided and safety remains a top priority.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years or older.
• Understand and follow instructions in English.
• Lift up to 49 pounds.
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
• Operate PIT at heights up to 45 feet.

Responsibilities

• Operate PIT such as order pickers and reach trucks.
• Locate, retrieve, and store large pallets in designated locations.
• Handle large pallets through warehouse processes while operating PIT.
• Operate a stand-up forklift and maneuver around other PIT equipment.
• Move items using carts, dollies, and pallet jacks during loading/unloading.
• Use handheld technology to track inventory records.
• PIT training and certification provided by Amazon.
