Superior Air Parts, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical/Aerospace Design Engineer to support the full life cycle of piston-engine component development—from design and analysis through testing, FAA certification, and production.

You will model with Creo Parametric, perform FEA, collaborate with DERs, Manufacturing, and Quality to deliver high-quality replacement parts for the general aviation piston-engine market.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum GPA 3.0.
• Experience with piston-engine design and operation.
• Experience creating or working with 3D CAD models and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Mansioni

• Support design, development, testing, certification, and production of piston-engine components.
• Work on crankcases, cylinders, crankshafts, and valve trains.
• Create and revise 3D CAD models and engineering drawings.
• Perform FEA to evaluate stresses and guide design.
• Assist with engine testing and data analysis.
• Prepare FAA certification documentation, reports, and test plans.
• Participate in engine assembly, teardown, and inspections.
• Collaborate with DERs, manufacturing, quality, and other departments.
• Provide engineering support for production activities.
• Assist with additional engineering and operational projects.
