Job summary

OSAAVA Services LLC seeks a Thermal/Infrared Modeling Engineer to support NASIC at Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, OH. The role emphasizes hands-on infrared signature analysis, plume modeling, and physics-based modeling for EO/IR systems.

Responsibilities include analyzing PIR/IR signatures, developing plume and signature models, validating with data, and delivering technical reports to government stakeholders. On-site work and TS/SCI clearance required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in infrared signature analysis, plume modeling, EO/IR, MASINT, phenomenology, or thermal/optical modeling.
• Hands-on experience with infrared analysis and signature modeling.
• Experience using empirical, measured, or modeled data.
• Experience with computational modeling codes and analysis tools.
• Ability to analyze complex physical phenomena and interpret results.
• Ability to produce clear technical reports and data packages.
• Willingness to work on-site at Wright-Patterson AFB / NASIC, Dayton, OH.

Responsibilities

• Analyze PIR and IR target signatures and related phenomena.
• Analyze target signature data using empirical, measured, and modeled datasets.
• Develop and evaluate plume and infrared signature models.
• Utilize plume modeling codes and related tools to characterize signatures and plume behavior.
• Compare modeled results against observed data and empirical signatures.
• Study infrared signature phenomena using NASIC/GSPM data where applicable.
• Prepare technical data packages and supporting analytical products.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, SMEs, and government stakeholders.
