Job summary

Rovanco Piping Systems, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager / Estimator to support estimating, sales, engineering and manufacturing for piping system projects.

You will review specifications and drawings, prepare material takeoffs, and manage projects from award through manufacturing and shipment. The ideal candidate interprets technical specs, coordinates submittals, schedules, shipping dates, and field-condition changes while maintaining customer expectations and internal

Qualifications

• Experience in project management or estimating in piping/mechanical/construction.
• Ability to read drawings, piping plans, and technical specs.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Capable of coordinating multiple projects and deadlines.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve estimating questions with teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage awarded projects from PO receipt to completion and shipment.
• Verify scope, pricing, and deliverables against PO, specs, and contracts.
• Set up and maintain project schedules, tracking submittals and delivery dates.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, QC and shipping.
• Monitor status and identify delays, shortages, and issues affecting delivery.
• Communicate milestones and delays to customers.
• Keep accurate project records of correspondence, approvals, and revisions.
• Review specs, drawings, piping plans, and BOMs to determine requirements.
• Identify required piping materials, insulation, jackets, and components.
• Prepare complete material takeoffs for estimating and execution.
• Identify discrepancies and scope gaps in project documents.
• Coordinate with sales and engineering to clarify requirements.
• Flag design challenges and material availability affecting cost.
• Ensure estimates reflect customer's specifications and scope.
