Job summary

Rovanco Piping Systems, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager / Estimator to support estimating, sales, engineering, and manufacturing for piping system projects.

You will review specifications and drawings, prepare material takeoffs, and manage projects from award through manufacturing and shipment. The role requires interpreting technical specs and piping details to determine material requirements, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure on-time delivery while meeting

Qualifications

• Experience in project management or estimating within piping, mechanical, construction, manufacturing, or industrial equipment industries.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, piping plans, technical specs, and engineering details.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate material takeoffs from drawings and specs.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Manage awarded projects from PO receipt through completion and shipment.
• Review purchase orders, project specs, approved quotations, and contracts to verify scope, pricing, and deliverables.
• Establish and maintain project schedules, track submittals, material requirements, manufacturing progress, and delivery dates.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, quality control, and shipping to progress projects on schedule.
• Monitor project status, identify potential delays or shortages, and communicate milestones to customers.
• Maintain accurate project records including correspondence, submittals, approvals, revisions, and schedule updates.
• Review project specs, drawings, piping plans, and BOMs to determine requirements for material takeoffs.
• Identify discrepancies, missing information, and scope gaps; resolve estimating questions with sales and engineering.
• Ensure estimates reflect customer specifications and project scope.
