Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Mechanical Engineering program with emphasis on solid mechanics, structural analysis, elasticity and metallurgy.
• Familiarity with pipe supporting elements.

Responsibilities

• Prepares complex calculations and reviews simple calculations.
• Reviews simple system/structural designs.
• Prepares design inputs for P&IDs and Master Diagrams under supervision.
• Writes specifications for balance-of-plant equipment.
• Prepares bid evaluations and economic support calculations; solicits data from vendors.
• Produces simple reports and studies.
• Inputs budgets, schedules, and work plans; monitors deadlines.
• Communicates technical information clearly in writing and verbally.
• Engages with vendors through complete specifications.
• Applies standards and processes to project tasks.
• Mentors entry-level engineers as needed.
