Job summary

Saulsbury Industries in Henderson, TX is seeking a highly motivated pipe shop supervisor to lead a crew of 15-20 warehouse associates in a fast-paced shop environment. You will drive safety, quality, productivity and cost control while mentoring team members and ensuring adherence to ASME piping standards.

Responsibilities include direct supervision, space and labor planning, and continuous improvement of shop processes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in industrial pipe fabrication with supervisory experience.
• Working knowledge of ASME B31.3, B31.8, and B31.1.
• Experience with robotic or automated welding processes including fit-up sequencing and tack preparation.
• Must have strong organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of crew of 15-20 warehouse associates
• Improve efficiency, quality and cost control where applicable
• Lead the pipe group to meet safety, quality, productivity, delivery
• Ensure production and quality requirements are met for customers
• Mentor and develop department staff
• Maintain discipline to procedures and budget guidelines
• Oversee maintenance of operating equipment
• Assist with space and labor planning
• Oversee department rules and regulations
• Other duties as assigned
