Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. (AEI) invites energetic engineering students to join our Tampa team as a Piping/Plumbing Engineer Intern for Summer 2027. You will contribute to energy-efficient building solutions, learn from seasoned professionals, and gain exposure to healthcare, science, and technology projects.

You will work alongside engineers who push the boundaries of what is possible while developing practical design and problem-solving skills in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering program from ABET accredited school.
• Completed 3 years of coursework or have a junior standing.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Leadership involvement in extracurricular activities/student organizations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with piping/plumbing design on significant and complex projects.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to learn and apply advanced engineering solutions.
