Job summary

Affiliated Engineers, Inc. in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Piping/Plumbing Engineer II to develop and document layout designs for healthcare, laboratory, industrial or institutional facilities.

You will apply basis of design concepts, coordinate with project partners, and utilize Revit MEP, AutoCAD and Navisworks to produce reliable, code-compliant systems while managing multiple tasks with strong communication.

Qualifications

• BSAE or BSME required.
• 3+ years of experience in designing piping/plumbing systems for healthcare, laboratory, industrial or institutional facilities.
• Fundamental knowledge in fire suppression systems, fire alarm systems, clean agent systems.
• PE License or ability to become licensed.
• Expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs (Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.
