Affiliated Engineers, Inc. in Seattle seeks a Piping/Plumbing Engineer II to help advance energy-efficient building solutions and support projects across healthcare, laboratory, industrial, and institutional facilities.

You will develop and document system designs from concept plans, apply design criteria, and research codes while collaborating with project partners, field teams, and users to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSAE or BSME required.
• 3+ years of piping/plumbing design experience in healthcare, laboratory, industrial, or institutional facilities.
• PE License or eligible to obtain licensure.
• Experience with engineering design programs (Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.

As a Piping/Plumbing Engineer II in our Seattle office, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all.

In this role, you will exercise independent judgment to develop and document system designs from concept plans and technical design criteria and interprets and utilizes information set forth in basis of design as well as information gathered from users, project partners, field surveys, and code research.

Expertise of our most successful Piping/Plumbing Engineer II:

• BSAE or BSME required.
• 3+ years of experience in designing piping/plumbing systems for healthcare, laboratory, industrial or institutional facilities.
• PE License or ability to become licensed.
• Expertise in computer operation for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks) preferred.
