Job summary

Moore's Electrical and Mechanical is seeking a Piping Mechanic to join our field crew in the Lynchburg area, with projects across commercial facilities. You will assist with the installation of mechanical piping systems and support the job site team to keep projects on schedule.

The role requires knowledge of welding or pipe fitting, ability to read drawings, and a willingness to mentor helpers and apprentices. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanical piping trade in welding or pipe fitting
• Welding experience with stick welding on pipe
• Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints
• Ability to mentor helpers and apprentices
• Dependable with a drive to complete projects
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Assist job site crew with installation of mechanical piping systems
• Read and interpret drawings and blueprints for coordination
• Mentor helpers and apprentices on site
• Support other mechanical trades as needed
• Ensure safety and follow established protocols
