Moore's Electrical & Mechanical, a Virginia-based ESOP company, is seeking a Piping Mechanic to support commercial and industrial projects across the Roanoke area. You will assist with installing mechanical piping systems, read blueprints, mentor helpers, and collaborate with other trades while maintaining safety and reliability on every project.

Expect to be part of a team focused on quality workmanship and on-time delivery. Experience in welding on pipe is a plus; you will not weld all day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational school or prior training preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced understanding of trade principles and concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety and following established protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist the job site crew with installation of mechanical piping systems.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
• Train and mentor helpers and apprentices.
• Be open to helping other trades as needed.
• Complete projects from start to finish.
• Must have a valid driver"s license and dependable transportation.
