Job summary

Moore's Electrical and Mechanical is seeking an Electrical Mechanic for commercial and/or industrial projects in Lynchburg and surrounding areas. You will install and wire systems, read blueprints, and promote safety while mentoring helpers.

The role requires a high school diploma, solid electrical knowledge, and a commitment to teamwork and safe work practices. Training and career growth opportunities are available within a 100% employee-owned company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge in the electrical trade; vocational training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Experience seeing electrical system installs from start to finish.
• Cutting, bending, threading and installation of conduit in all sizes.
• Experience bending offsets, 3 points, 4 points, saddles, kicks, 90's, etc.
• Read/interpret blueprints, coordinated drawings, wiring diagrams, submittals, etc.
• Hooking up/terminating electrical panels, set fixtures, and other devices
• Understanding of PLCs, controls; industrial manufacturing a plus
• Mentor/helpers and apprentices on site
