Job summary

BASX in Redmond, OR, now part of AAON, is seeking a skilled pipefitter to join our team in a dynamic HVAC environment. You will read drawings, cut and assemble piping and install controls while adhering to safety standards and maintaining quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Read, understand and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders and reports.
• Cut and bore holes in structures prior to pipe installation using hand/power tools.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings and related equipment per specifications.

Qualifications

• Read, understand and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders and reports
• Cut and bore holes in structures, such as bulkheads, decks, walls and mains, prior to pipe installation, using hand and power tools.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings and related equipment, according to specifications, by brazing, gluing, soldering and threading joints.
• Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures using brackets and/or Unistrut.
• Trouble problems in the piping systems we build.
• Install automatic controls used to regulate hydronic and refrigerant systems.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to work 10–12-hour shifts
• Competency in selecting pipe type, size and related materials, such as supports, hangers per job specifications.

Essential Physical Functions
