BASX, part of AAON, is an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of custom heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions. We offer a dynamic and fast‑paced environment for skilled technicians in Redmond, OR.
Shift
A‑Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday – Thursday (10–12‑hour shifts).
Responsibilities
- Read, understand, and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports.
- Cut and bore holes in structures such as bulkheads, decks, walls, and mains before pipe installation, using hand and power tools.
- Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications, using brazing, gluing, soldering, and threading.
- Attach pipes to walls, structures, and fixtures with brackets and/or Unistrut.
- Troubleshoot problems in the piping systems we build.
- Install automatic controls used to regulate hydronic and refrigerant systems.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work 10–12‑hour shifts.
- Competency in selecting pipe type, size, and related materials such as supports and hangers as per job specifications.

Essential Physical Functions
- Lift up to 50 lb.
- Sit or stand for up to 95% of work hours.
- Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.

Pay Range
$20.90 – $31.36 per hour.
