Job summary

Total Safety is seeking a skilled Pipefitter to install, assemble, maintain, and repair piping systems in industrial environments while adhering to safety procedures. Based in Port Arthur, TX, this part-time position requires reading blueprints and isometric drawings, using hand and power tools, and collaborating with supervisors and welders to complete projects safely and efficiently.

Experience as a pipefitter in industrial or construction settings.
Ability to read piping drawings and isometric drawings.
Proficient with hand and power tools.
Strong safety awareness and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Install, assemble, maintain, and repair piping systems in industrial facilities.
Measure, cut, thread, bend, and fit pipes per project specs.
Read and interpret blueprints and isometric drawings.
Identify pipe sizes, materials, fittings, valves, and components.
Align and secure piping components for proper fit and installation.
Inspect piping systems for defects, leaks, and proper installation.
Use hand tools, power tools, and related equipment.
Collaborate with supervisors, welders, and team members.
Adhere to company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Maintain a clean, organized work area and report hazards.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
