Job summary

Global Technical Talent is seeking a Piping Field Engineer Specialist for a 12-month contract in Brownsville, TX. The role is onsite with responsibilities spanning field walkdowns, quality verification, and turnover support to ensure piping systems meet design requirements.

Ideal candidates have 5–12 years of piping/ mechanical field experience and strong proficiency with P&IDs, isometrics, and ASME B31.3. Onsite work with a focus on safety and documentation readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience in interpreting P&IDs, isometrics, and plot plans.
• Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3 and applicable codes.
• Ability to perform field walkdowns and identify discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field walkdowns and verify installation against drawings and specs.
• Support quality verifications and NCRs.
• Assist with test package preparation, hydrotest readiness, and turnover.
