Job summary

Gulfstream Strategic Placements, LLC is seeking a Piping Detailer for a design-build mechanical contractor in Florida. The role involves coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure accurate drawings and documentation.

Responsibilities include resolving issues, assisting BIM Coordinator, and logging RFIs, submittals, and contract documents while adhering to local codes. Strong CAD skills and HVAC/plumbing knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• HVAC and Plumbing experience required, 2+ years.
• Strong knowledge of State and Local HVAC and Plumbing Building Codes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with AutoCAD.

We are a large growing Design Build Mechanical Contractor in Florida that works on many of Florida’s biggest and best Plumbing and Mechanical Projects. This is a full-time position with great salary and benefits package as well as career-growth opportunities. We are planning to hire Florida’s best and brightest Piping Detailer’s in the near future.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and resolve issues.
• Assist the Senior Lead BIM Coordinator.
• Work closely with and coordinate with Owners, Project Managers, Spoolers, Foreman, Architects, Engineers, Design Consultants, Field Personnel, Estimators, and Vendors to insure work is completed accurately and on time.
• Manage, generate, develop, review, and logging: RFI’s, submittal’s, Contract documents, local code requirements, and construction drawings.
