Job summary

Gulfstream Strategic Placements, LLC in Florida seeks an experienced HVAC and Plumbing Superintendent for our large commercial projects. This full-time role focuses on safety, scheduling, and on-site leadership, coordinating with GC's, owners, and subcontractors to deliver HVAC and plumbing work on time and within budget.

You will review submittals, change orders, and takeoffs, ensure compliance with building codes and OSHA standards, and mentor field crews to maintain high quality across wet

Qualifications

• 6+ years of field experience in HVAC/plumbing.
• 5+ years as a superintendent on large commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of state HVAC and plumbing building codes, QC and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure budget, scheduling, OSHA standards, and two-week look-ahead planning.

We are a large growing mechanical contractor in Floridathat works on many of Florida’s biggest and best HVAC and Plumbing Projects. This is a full-time position with great salary and benefits package as well as career-growth opportunities. We are planning to hire Florida’s best and brightest HVAC and Plumbing Superintendent’s in the near future.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe work environment and exceed OSHA requirements.
• Review submittals, change orders, material take offs, and time sheets.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance: budget, reviews, project scheduling, OSHA standards, work rules, monitoring labor, project scheduling and maintain “two week” look ahead schedule
• Attend events, job sites, and meet closely with GC's, owners, as well as sub-contractors and MEP-Design Engineers.

Requirements:

• Local
• Stable Work History
• 6+ Years of prior field experience in HVAC/Plumbing.
• Strong knowledge in: State HVAC and Plumbing Building Codes, QC, and OSHA Standards.
• 5+ years of HVAC (wet/dry) and plumbing superintendent experience in large commercial projects.
