Job summary

Audubon seeks a Piping Designer II to join our Houston office. You will design piping equipment and systems, prepare detailed drawings, and support project teams through the full design cycle.

This role emphasizes 2D/3D CAD work, BOM creation, and coordination with engineers. Experience with AutoCAD, CADWorx, and PDMS, plus field surveys, is preferred; a high school diploma or GED and 7 years+ experience are typical requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree from a technical institution preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience preferred.
• AutoCAD software experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings of parts and assemblies from layouts and designs.
• Interpret verbal or written direction to initiate a preliminary design.
• Assist with stress analysis, BOMs, and procurement.
• Create fabrication and assembly drawings using 2D or 3D CAD software.
• Maintain file management and coordinate with clients and vendors.
