Job summary

Audubon Companies is seeking a Piping Designer II to join our team in Canonsburg, PA. This role designs piping equipment, components, structures, or systems and generates detailed 2D/3D drawings.

You will prepare BOMs and procurement lists, revise drawings per engineering changes, support field surveys, and coordinate with clients, vendors and engineers within HSSE standards. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, an Associate’s Degree preferred, 7+ years of experience, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree from a Technical Institution preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience preferred.
• AutoCAD software experience required.
• CADWorx and PDMS software experience preferred.
• Experience in offshore oil & gas, onshore gas processing, hydrocarbon storage and transportation, chemical manufacturing or refining industry required.
• Small/Medium project lead experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings of piping parts and assemblies from layouts and working drawings.
• Interpret verbal or written direction to initiate preliminary design.
• Assist with stress analysis, procurement, calculations, and estimates.
• Prepare BOMs and procurement lists and specifications.
• Revise lists, drawings and BOMs per engineering changes.
• Implement revisions and change control per company standards.
• Assemble information and reference drawings from various sources.
• Create layouts for piping systems and fabrication drawings.
• Produce drawings for Engineering Change Orders (ECO).
• Interact with clients, subcontractors, vendors and other consultants.
• Track and maintain project schedule and budget.
