Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree required in Engineering Technology or CAD
• 4+ years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical/piping drafting and design
• Knowledge of piping materials, supports, and restraints
• Ability to create accurate mechanical/piping installation documents from vendor drawings

Responsibilities

• Design complete mechanical/piping assignments using P&IDs, GA sheets and equipment drawings
• Prepare material take-offs from piping drawings
• Perform field design work and communicate with client personnel
• Develop and draft moderately complex piping drawings
• Assist during startup and provide on-site support
