Position Details

Piping Designer

Contract to Hire - On Site

Robinson Twp, PA

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Summary

• Draft layouts and drawings according to customer specifications, industry standards, and existing designs under supervision.
• Utilize existing drawings, sketches, models, prototypes, or verbal instructions for new and existing designs.
• Develop working layouts and final master drawings for project deliverables under guidance.
• Revise existing drawings based on red-line markups or verbal instructions.
• Perform back checks on drawings before client delivery.
• Prepare batch plots and complete checked, scrubbed, and back-checked drawing packages for clients.
• Keep the Department Manager and Lead/Senior Designer informed about work status and issues.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting, or related field, with 5 years of experience.
• Proficiency in general computer skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD preferred.
• Experience with 3D CAD / CADWORX is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Must pass government security checks and drug screening.
