Job summary

Environmental Air Systems, Inc. seeks skilled pipe welders for our Rural Hall, NC manufacturing shop. You will weld carbon steel, follow blueprints, and ensure high-quality pipe installations and fabrications. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to ASME codes.

Qualifications

• Reading and speaking proficiency in English or Spanish.
• Minimum of five years of pipe welding experience.
• Proficiency in SMAW; MIG & TIG preferred.
• Ability to pass certifications for Carbon Steel Schedule 40 Pipe, open root joint and 6G position.
• Wear welding attire and follow safety procedures.
• Familiarity with welding tools, equipment, and schematics.
• Knowledge of ASME Sec IX Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.

Responsibilities

• Weld in various positions per safety procedures.
• Achieve 100% weld quality in all positions.
• Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products.
• Install and repair piping and components.
• Follow blueprints to meet specifications.
• Calculate material measurements to verify specs.
• Test welds to evaluate quality and tolerance.
