Job summary

AVEVA is seeking a Services Staff Consultant - Simulation in Owings Mills, MD, hybrid role with ~25% travel. You will design and implement pipeline simulation solutions using AVEVA’s tools, develop essential documentation, and collaborate with customer teams to deliver solutions.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in engineering, coursework in fluid dynamics and thermodynamics, and 0–3 years in oil and gas pipeline contexts with basic software familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• Courses in fluid dynamics and thermodynamics completed.
• Understanding of project lifecycle and execution methodologies.
• 0–3 years of oil and gas pipeline experience; basic software familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design, configuration, and implementation of pipeline simulation solutions using AVEVA’s Pipeline Integrity Monitor modeling application.
• Development of project documentation including the Functional Design Specification, Acceptance Test Procedures, and custom user documentation.
• Participate as a member of a larger team in project implementation and delivery to customers.
• Work directly with customers to understand customer’s needs and requirements.
• Travel to client sites will be required (approximately 25%).
