Job summary

Sheakley Risk & Safety Solutions in Clarksville, IN, is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee pipeline project safety across two active sites. This 1099 contractor role starts ASAP and emphasizes rigging, excavation, and pipeline work with strong incident-prevention focus.

You will lead daily safety inspections, oversee rigging/trenching activities, monitor compliance, and run toolbox talks, JHAs, and safety coaching across four crews on two upgrades.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification required.
• 2+ years of safety experience required.
• Hands-on experience with rigging, excavation, and oil/pipeline work.
• Workers Comp coverage required.
• Bonus: Operator Qualifications (OQ) experience.
• Bonus: Experience with piping systems testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety inspections across multiple active crews.
• Oversee rigging operations and excavation/trenching activities.
• Monitor compliance during pipeline upgrade and modification work.
• Lead toolbox talks, JHAs, and incident prevention efforts.
• Coordinate safety compliance across concurrent project sites.
